Colonial Garden, a community of Navion Senior Living, is seeking Certified Medication Technicians for full-time, overnight (7pm-7am) medication administration-related roles. Our Medication Technicians deliver high-quality medication administration and resident care oversight in a cutting-edge Assisted Living and Memory Care Community.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain positive working relationships with residents, family members, and staff.
  • Promote and protect residents' rights, treating them with dignity and respect.
  • Attend in-service and educational programs, completing continuing education as required by state regulations.
  • Remain calm and professional under stressful conditions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of residents' information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Adhere to community dress code and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Complete documentation accurately and informatively.
  • Report all changes in a resident's condition promptly to supervisors.
  • Complete assigned tasks and schedules according to community policies and procedures.
  • Operate equipment safely, using only equipment for which training has been provided.
  • Implement infection control practices consistently.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of fire and emergency procedures, reporting safety violations appropriately.

Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Successful completion of a State Approved Medication Aide course.
  • Personal Care Assistant or Certified Nursing Certification required.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills to interact with residents, families, and staff.
  • Ability to work safely in an environment caring for seniors without posing health or safety risks.
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
