As a member of the Equipment Reliability team, you willbe responsible forlong-term programmatic solutions toliquids pipeline, processing facilities, and cryogenic pumps across the enterprise. This includes developing models to improve system performance, standards for engineering and Supply Chain, and support for operational issues. The ability to balance multiple projects, resolve conflicts, andparticipatein industry-relevant committees, groups and panels will be an expectation of this role.

Responsibilities/Expectations:
  • Accounts for a diverse range of sophisticated assignments requiring the use of experience, innovation and judgment

  • May supervise the work of others

  • Demonstrates technical expertise in a specialty, geographic area, or operational function and applies specialized knowledge in the effective completion of large-scope projects

  • Prepares and delivers presentations

  • Anticipates internal/external customer needs; assesses requirements and identifies solutions

  • Interprets internal/external business challenges and improves products, processes or services

  • Collaborates with teams to ensure compliance, build improvement plans and meet training needs

  • Champions processes, procedures and safety standards

  • Monitors and controls costs and resources associated with projects

  • Understandsthe economic drivers of the technical analysis being developed and incorporating them into the design

  • Createsand appliesoperating performance analysis methodstooptimizethe value of our assets

  • Usestheirknowledge of industry standards (e.g.API 610, API 682, and API 675) to update company standards, policies, and guidance documents

  • Serves as the owner of the enterprise pump program and lifecycle support

  • Other duties as assigned

Education/Years of Experience:
  • Required: Bachelor's Degree in relevant Engineering field from an accredited college or university, OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) license; A minimum eight (8) years of multifaceted engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry

  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and minimum seven (7) years of progressive engineering experience in the natural gas or petrochemical industry and PE Certification

Other Requirements:
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as a main priority

  • Proficiency in engineering specialties covering more than one subject area

  • Broad experience in gas gathering, processing and transmission operations, and project management

  • Preferred: Knowledge of SQL, ladder logic, advanced programming languages (C#, R, Python)

  • PI System experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
