Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a federal work study student in the Psychological Science department on the Gainesville campus. This Federal Work Study position will assist the UNG Family Literacy Program Coordinators, in the Department of Psychological Science, on weekly tasks during the semester. The Student Program Coordinator will also assist in recruiting volunteers for the program and serve in a student leadership role.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the UNG Family Literacy Program Principal Investigators in weekly tasks (e.g., photocopying, updating volunteer and participant files, set up and clean up after each session, etc.).
  • Attend every session during the fall and spring semesters.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Punctuality and strong organizational skills are required.
  • Excellent customer service skills and enjoy helping people.
  • Must be willing to participate and/or facilitate the 8-week Family Literacy Program on Tuesday evenings.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
