Job description

Thermal Engineering International (USA) Inc. is currently seeking a qualified Senior Project Scheduler to join our team. The Senior Project Scheduler is tasked with the development, upkeep, and evaluation of integrated project schedules to facilitate the successful delivery of complex projects. This position collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to guarantee precise planning, efficient performance monitoring, and prompt reporting throughout the duration of the project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create comprehensive, resource-loaded project schedules using Primavera P6 that drive seamless project planning and execution.
  • Play a key role in proposal and planning stages by crafting realistic baseline schedules that perfectly align with the project scope and execution strategy.
  • Keep projects on track with regular schedule updates, including progress tracking, validating actual hours, and percent complete.
  • Prepare insightful Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics, forward-looking schedules, and detailed progress reports to keep everyone informed.
  • Actively support mitigation and recovery planning, assessing the impact of changes to maintain schedule integrity.
  • Collaborate effectively across Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Production, Operations, and Quality teams to ensure cohesive project advancement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in project scheduling or project controls.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Primavera Scheduling Software (P6) is essential, while familiarity with MS Project is a definite advantage.
  • Experience with Power BI is an added bonus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in the use of general business software: Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point.
