About the Role:

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading complex, cross-functional projects that drive strategic priorities across the organization. This role operates as an individual contributor, partnering with leaders and teams across departments to deliver high-impact initiatives on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

The ideal candidate combines strong project leadership, stakeholder management, and operational execution skills to coordinate initiatives that span multiple functions and require significant organizational alignment.

Responsibilities:

What you’ll be doing:

Project Leadership & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic, cross-functional projects from planning through execution and completion.
  • Define project scope, goals, success metrics, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Track milestones, deliverables, and progress to ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner with leaders and subject matter experts across departments (e.g., Operations, Finance, Product, Technology, HR, Marketing, Compliance teams).
  • Facilitate alignment across stakeholders with differing priorities.
  • Lead project meetings, working sessions, and decision forums.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Serve as the central point of coordination for project stakeholders.
  • Provide regular status updates to leadership and executive sponsors.
  • Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating when appropriate.
  • Translate complex project details into clear executive-level communication.

Strategic Initiative Support

  • Drive initiatives tied to organizational growth, operational improvements, and transformation efforts.
  • Support prioritization and sequencing of initiatives in partnership with leadership.
  • Ensure projects align with broader company strategy and objectives.

Process & Operational Improvement

  • Establish best practices for project planning, documentation, and execution.
  • Implement tools and frameworks to improve project visibility and efficiency.
  • Capture lessons learned and continuously improve project delivery methods.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 7+ years of project management or program management experience.
  • Demonstrated success delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influence skills without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation abilities.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in a mid-sized or fast-growing organization.

Additional Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • PMP, PgMP, or similar project management certification.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, Monday.com).
  • Experience leading operational or strategic transformation projects.
