As a Senior Project Manager, you will be working on various large mission critical data centers with key clients. Projects will be designing the building infrastructure to support cutting edge AI and IoT initiatives. Specifically involved with large site developments, wet and dry utility distribution, and overall permitting requirements.


Vanderweil Engineers is a top ranked national full-service engineering firm specializing in MEP/FP, and technology services. Sectors include Mission Critical Data Centers, Science & Technology, Academic, Healthcare and Commercial buildings. In our 75th year with a staff of 500+across nine offices, one of the leading independently owned engineering firms in the country.


You will:


  • Manage multiple A/E projects in the life sciences sector.
  • Be the prime consultant and managing outside sub-consultants such as architects, structural and civil engineers.
  • Focused on all aspects of project work from planning through construction, including client meetings and presentations to ensuring continued understanding of the client’s needs.
  • Writing proposals, estimating A/E fees, and presenting qualifications of teams.
  • Manage schedule and budgets for multiple projects.


Requirements


  • 10+ year of experience with 7+ years in project management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Project Management or equivalent experience
  • Previous project manager in either mission critical data centers, life sciences, academic or commercial
  • Knowledge of MEP/FP, Architectural or Structural systems/components. (will consider architects, structural, mechanical, electrical or civil engineers with experience managing large teams in a consultant environment)
  • Prior experience in project managing projects in a E or A or A/E consulting firm.
  • Understanding of Civil Engineering and site development is a plus


Flexible & Hybrid Culture


Compensation range is $150,000 - $200,000 plus bonus pending years of experience, professional licensure and education.
