Senior Project Manager

The company is a Pacific Northwest-based industrial construction contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex projects across industrial, power, piping, civil, and process systems markets. The company is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee industrial construction projects from preconstruction through completion. This leadership role is responsible for managing project execution, maintaining client relationships, coordinating with subcontractors and internal teams, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

The Senior Project Manager will serve as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders while providing strategic direction and oversight throughout all phases of project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple industrial construction projects and project teams.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and overall financial performance.
  • Coordinate project planning, execution, and closeout activities.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, challenges, and changes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual requirements.
  • Collaborate with field leadership, estimating, engineering, and executive teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Support business development efforts and contribute to client retention and growth.
  • Mentor and develop project management staff and team members.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing industrial construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction project management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and risk management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead project teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience interfacing directly with owners, clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and project controls tools.
  • Years of experience: Significant project management experience within industrial construction environments preferred.
