Job description

Lead engineering and capital projects in a high-volume food manufacturing environment. This role focuses on optimizing production processes, leading project execution, and driving efficiency improvements across the plant.

Position Overview: Manage medium to large-scale projects from concept through execution. This role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work cross-functionally with production, vendors, and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities: Develop engineering designs, specifications, and cost estimates. Conduct feasibility studies and support design decisions. Manage projects from concept through execution. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and plant teams. Review engineering work for compliance with codes and standards. Oversee installation and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets. Manage project budgets and financial performance. Lead project planning, scope definition, and bid evaluations. Maintain project documentation including drawings and manuals. Support production line modifications and process improvements.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. 5+ years of project engineering experience. Strong project management and budget management experience. Experience with AutoCAD. Manufacturing experience required (food preferred). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
