1st Shift, Monday – Friday 6:30am – 4:30pm 

At GXO Logistics, we look for employees who take pride in their work and show dedication to their job. As the Senior Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that the facility structure and equipment are maintained for the efficient and uninterrupted flow of operations. If you’re excited about the challenge of working for a dynamic global company, we have an opportunity for you to grow with GXO.

What you’ll do on a typical day: 

  • Oversee all the primary operational functions and ensure that the mechanical, plumbing and electrical facility equipment is properly maintained in good, safe working order 

  • Establish goals, policies and standard operating procedures for the maintenance department and complete special projects as assigned 

  • Oversee processes to ensure maintenance activities are completed accurately and on time 

  • Properly maintain, inspect and repair machines, equipment and warehouse facilities in a safe manner 

  • Coordinate with team to execute ongoing site projects and continuous improvement initiatives 

  • Establish, maintain and promote exceptional customer service 

  • Correctly interpret and enforce company policies and safety procedures to ensure team compliance 

What you need to succeed at GXO: 

At a minimum, you’ll need: 

  • 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance 

  • Solid knowledge of machines, equipment, warehouse facilities, and maintenance and repair methods and procedures 

  • Understanding and knowledge of carpentry, painting and plastering; familiarity with plumbing, electrical and vehicle servicing 

  • Basic computer skills 

  • Safety program knowledge 

It’d be great if you also have: 

  • Degree or equivalent technical training certification from an accredited institution or equivalent related technical training 

  • 2 years of supervisory experience  

  • Experience with electrical motor controls, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and controls, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), PLC and operator interfaces, lighting and power distribution, and HVAC systems and controls 

  • Familiarity with generator and emergency power systems, Ethernet, DeviceNet and RS232 communication 

  • Vendor interaction and relationship experience  

  • Experience handling multiple projects with tight deadlines
