As a Process Integration Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in advancing Intel's semiconductor process technologies within the Logic Technology Development (LTD) group. Your day-to-day involves designing, optimizing, and implementing integrated process solutions that drive Intel's next-generation technology. By leveraging your expertise in process integration, yield analysis, and data-driven problem solving, you will contribute directly to the seamless transition of emerging technologies from development to high-volume manufacturing, ensuring Intel remains at the forefront of semiconductor innovation.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • LTD Semiconductor Senior Process Integration Development Engineers are responsible for leading scientific research enabling the manufacture of innovative device architectures but not limited to:

  • Lead scientific research enabling the manufacture of innovative device architectures coupled with the realization of these architectures.

  • Designing, executing, and analyzing experiments necessary to meet engineering specifications for their process.

  • Participate in the development of intellectual property.

  • Integrate the many individual steps necessary for the manufacture of complex microprocessors.

  • Ramp to manufacturing volumes to demonstrate the technology meets requirements while simultaneously transferring the technology to counterparts in manufacturing via the Copy Exactly

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry-relevant job experience, internship experiences, and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The candidate must possess a Ph.D. degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related Scientific STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math) field of study.

  • 2+ years of Semiconductor Industry experience in one or more of the following areas:

    • Semiconductor processing

    • Semiconductor fabrication

    • Nanotechnology.

  • 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following:

    • Design of Experiments (DOE)

    • Statistical Process Control (SPC)

    • Computational Data Skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Semiconductor processing or device fabrication and/or nanotechnology
Electrical characterization of transistors or other semiconductor devices.
Experience leading projects and leading cross-functional teams.
