Job description

About the Team

DoorDash continues to grow in Canada and we are hiring a Senior Engagement Associate to be responsible for the strategic vision, development and growth of restaurant merchant partner relationships within our Enterprise Post-sale team. You will report to an Engagement Manager Lead for DoorDash Canada.

You'll leverage AI-powered insights, data-driven signals, and emerging tools to shape strategy, inform decision-making, identify opportunities, and drive growth across complex, enterprise-level engagements. By integrating AI and data-enabled analysis into day-to-day workflows, you'll improve prioritization, execution, and business impact while partnering cross-functionally to translate evolving platform and AI capabilities into clear, tangible value for partners and the business.

About the Role

As an Enterprise Senior Associate you will join a passionate team of high-performing sales and relationship managers, as we deepen our partnerships with Canada's most strategically important restaurant merchants. You will be responsible for the ownership and growth of a subset of these partnerships and play a key role in the rollout of new brand partnerships, growing existing merchants (selling new products, launching new stores) partnering to grow with marketing and working closely with product teams and other key internal stakeholders to deliver a seamless experience to our merchant partners.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will...
  • Own, develop and foster strategic merchant partnerships to drive sales growth using a number of levers including activation, marketing, product and operations.
  • Develop strategic merchant relationships with C-Suite, strategy, marketing, and operations leads to provide a best-in-class working partnership.
  • Work cross-functionally and serve as a liaison between our merchant partners and DoorDash leadership, marketing, product, operations, and other functional teams.
  • Leverage playbooks, tools and internal resources to ensure merchants receive a high quality experience on DoorDash, working to resolve any roadblocks and achieve operational excellence.
We're excited about you because you...
  • Love working in client facing roles; you create and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Are a problem solver at your core, with a strong bias for action. You are relentless about pursuing growth and opportunities.
  • Are passionate about using analytics to build insights around problems and opportunities.
  • Like rolling up your sleeves as much as you like the big picture.
  • Are organized and pay attention to the details.
  • Comfortable with a very fast pace and several competing priorities; we move quickly.
  • Know how to take very broad challenges or opportunities and turn them into actionable projects with clear milestones and goals, with minimal guidance
  • Inspired by a challenge and push yourself to keep going when others back away.
  • Hold a high bar from your contributions and those of the people you work with.
  • Have strong AI fluency; ideally Claude Code experience
  • Experience leveraging data, AI-informed insights, and emerging AI tools to drive strategic decisions, enhance productivity, and improve outcomes in complex business environments.
  • Strong ability to interpret AI-generated insights, synthesize them into clear, actionable recommendations and executive-level narratives, and influence stakeholders.
  • Baseline fluency in AI concepts, with a willingness to continuously learn and adopt new technologies as AI capabilities become increasingly embedded in workflows, products, and customer interactions.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years experience in account management, sales, business development or consulting.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven success working in cross-functional teams to build creative and effective solutions (ie. in a sales role working with product, marketing, and operations teams).
  • Excellent analytical thinker who can deliver actionable recommendations out of complex datasets (advanced spreadsheet skills required).
  • A proven track record of driving growth.
Nice to Haves
  • Experience with marketplaces, operations or logistics.
  • Experience with CRM software (ie. Salesforce).
