Is a controller higher than a CFO?

A Senior Portfolio Controller typically reports to senior management and is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, compliance, and portfolio performance. A Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a top executive who has overall responsibility for a company's financial strategy and decision-making, making the CFO higher in the organizational hierarchy than a controller or portfolio controller.

What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

A Senior Portfolio Controller typically earns a high salary, often exceeding $10,000 per month, based on experience and industry. However, this role usually requires significant financial expertise, industry knowledge, and often a degree or equivalent experience. Many high-paying jobs without a degree involve skilled trades, sales, or entrepreneurship, but most roles with such high salaries in finance or management generally require formal education or extensive experience.
