JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Greystar is seeking a strategic and data-driven Senior Analyst of Real Estate Operations & Analytics for our Centralized Services team to lead analytical initiatives supporting multifamily housing operations. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in business analytics, financial reporting, and property management systems. The Senior Analyst will oversee analytics projects, mentor analysts, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver insights that drive operational excellence and strategic decision-making.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate departmental and portfolio performance.
  • Conduct in-depth business analysis to support strategic planning and operational improvements.
  • Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to analytics team members, fostering professional growth and team stability.
  • Apply multifamily housing analytics to support property management strategies and improve tenant satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with property teams to ensure data-driven decision-making and efficient property operations.
  • Lead the development and optimization of Power BI dashboards and reporting metrics across multiple Property Management Systems (Yardi, RealPage, Entrata).
  • Manage the creation and delivery of financial and operational reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee the implementation of pilot programs and analytics initiatives across property management platforms.
  • Design and refine departmental procedures to enhance productivity and data integrity.
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify and implement system enhancements aligned with business needs.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Management, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and business strategies.
  • Experience in multifamily housing analytics and property management operations.
  • Familiarity with Property Management Systems (Yardi, RealPage, Entrata) is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.

Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in business analytics and financial reporting, preferably within the property management industry.
  • Track record of developing and implementing process improvements and analytics frameworks.
  • Experience supporting hybrid teams (in-office and remote).
  • Deep understanding of multifamily housing operations and performance metrics.
  • Proven leadership in analytics project management and stakeholder engagement.

Additional Compensation:
Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.
  • Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
  • Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
