Job description

About This Role:

PayIt's Information Technology Team is the group primarily responsible for building, integrating, and maintaining the systems and applications that drive PayIt's culture of collaboration and innovation.  The IT Engineer will be the face of, and initial point of contact for, the IT Team.  This individual is expected to be intelligent, bright, creative, and able to excel in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Be Doing

The IT Engineer will work across teams and within a team, and be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Design
  • Provide infrastructure support for all systems within PayIt's offices, including network equipment, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Analyze system and application requirements and provide recommended technical solutions that are efficient, scalable, maintainable, and accurately meet the needs of the business.
  • Contribute to the development of the technical roadmap by recognizing and putting forth solutions to systemic problems.
  • Support the security and compliance mission of the company with the goal of ensuring the overall security of the company, as well as company-wide compliance to a variety of internal policies and standards, and external regulatory standards, including PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and SSAE-18 SOC 2.
  • Build AI-driven workflows and automations to create efficiencies, and make our work easier and quicker.
