Sentar is seeking a Senior Network Engineer III in Butlerville, Indiana!

**This position is dependent on contract award**

Role Description:

  • Lead all planning, development, implementation, problem resolution, and ongoing administration of MACC-TTE enterprise networks per PWS Section 3.9.
  • Serve as the technical authority and subject matter expert for all network system policy and architecture planning decisions at MuTC.
  • Provide recommendations on proposed Network Systems Engineering changes, upgrades, and capability expansions, with full technical justification for Government review.
  • Define and maintain network technology roadmaps and strategies for the MuTC infrastructure, aligned with DoD and INNG modernization priorities.
  • Design and maintain network segmentation, access control policies, and IA compliance configurations across all classified and unclassified range segments.
  • Design and support wireless network infrastructure including cellular range systems, 802.11x networks, and EW-adjacent spectrum domains in coordination with the Cellular/RF Engineer.
  • Ensure DISN and DoD node connectivity requirements are met and maintained throughout the period of performance.
  • Develop and maintain all required network architecture documentation, system diagrams, configuration baselines, and change records per CDRL requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Systems Administrator/Engineer on infrastructure integration activities and provide senior-level technical oversight of all network-related tasks.

Qualifications:

Clearance Level: TS/SCI

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline is required. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of fifteen (15) years of directly applicable senior network engineering experience in DoD classified environments, with demonstrated cyber range or testbed network architecture experience, may be substituted.

Certifications: One or more of the following:

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) - Enterprise or Security
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE)
  • DoDM 8140.03 IAT Level III (CASP+, CISSP)
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • CompTIA Network+ or Security+
  • Juniper Networks Certified Professional (JNCIP)

Experience:

  • Minimum ten (10) years of professional experience in network engineering, with at least five (5) years in cyber range, computer testbed, or C5ISR range environments.
  • DoDM 8140.03 IAT Level II baseline certification at time of proposal submission.
  • Expert-level proficiency in enterprise network design and configuration including routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching, firewall policy, DNS, VPNs, VLANs, and QoS.
  • Demonstrated experience providing enterprise network engineering and architecture support for distributed DoD test range or training range facilities with multiple classified and unclassified network segments.
  • Demonstrated experience with wireless infrastructure design and implementation including IEEE 802.11x standards and 2G/3G/4G/5G cellular technologies in a DoD or range environment.
  • Experience with DoD network nodes and architectures including JIOR, DISN connectivity requirements, and applicable DISA STIGs.
  • Demonstrated experience developing network architecture documentation, technology roadmaps, and network system policy guidance for senior Government review.
  • Experience integrating EW and spectrum management considerations into enterprise network designs for multi-domain training environments.
