Why should you consider joining Auvik?
  • You want to work at a company that is building impactful, relevant technology. Auvik's network management software helps IT teams by automating time-consuming tasks, streamlining operations, and mitigating risk. It's more important than ever to be able to remotely monitor and manage network infrastructure, and with Auvik, IT professionals have that essential visibility and control.
  • You want to work with a leadership team who are transparent and trustworthy. Our senior leaders have a vision for Auvik. They are experienced, knowledgeable, approachable, and consistently working hard to drive success, both for the company and the team of people who make it happen.
  • You want to work with a product customers love. People rave about what we've built. Our customers are smart, aspirational, and highly technical. It pays to get the details right.
  • You want regular opportunities for learning and growth. With ongoing feedback from leadership, you'll find that Auvik encourages you to be your very best. Our onboarding process is thorough and informative because we want to make sure you're prepared to have a great work experience. • You want the flexibility to manage your work, your way. We're a fully distributed team and we're prepared to continue to support working from home (or the space you choose!). We trust you to get the job done where you feel most comfortable and effective.

What's this role about?

We're looking for a Product Marketing leader to define and execute Auvik's Product Marketing strategy, ensuring our products are positioned to win in the market and drive sustainable business growth.
This is a true player-coach role. You'll lead and develop a team of Product Marketing Managers while remaining actively involved in product launches, positioning and messaging, and go-to-market strategy for our most strategic initiatives. You'll establish the vision, priorities, and operating model for the Product Marketing function while continuing to contribute directly where your expertise has the greatest impact.
Working closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Executive Leadership, you'll represent the voice of the customer, influence product direction, shape company-wide go-to-market strategy, and ensure the Product Marketing team delivers consistent, scalable, and measurable business outcomes.

What will I be doing?

Own Product Marketing strategy and execution

  • Own the Product Marketing strategy across Auvik's portfolio, ensuring alignment with company growth objectives.
  • Define positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies that clearly differentiate Auvik in the market.
  • Personally lead the company's most strategic product launches while enabling the team to execute across the broader portfolio.
  • Partner closely with Product Management to influence product strategy and roadmap decisions through customer, market, and competitive insights.
  • Ensure customer-facing teams are equipped with the messaging, enablement, and content needed to drive successful customer outcomes.

Drive business outcomes

  • Partner with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success leaders to align go-to-market strategy across the customer lifecycle.
  • Own Product Marketing's contribution to business outcomes, including product adoption, pipeline, customer expansion, competitive positioning, and revenue growth.
  • Define success metrics, measure team and program performance, and continuously evolve Product Marketing strategy, programs, and processes to improve results.
  • Foster alignment across functions to ensure consistent execution and a seamless customer experience.

Lead and grow the Product Marketing function

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Product Marketing Managers, fostering growth, accountability, and strong execution.
  • Contribute to setting strategic direction, priorities, and operating cadence for the Product Marketing function.
  • Build scalable processes, frameworks, and best practices that improve consistency, quality, and business impact across the team.
  • Allocate resources and prioritize work across the product portfolio to maximize business outcomes.
Remain an active contributor by leading high-impact launches, messaging, and strategic initiatives alongside your team.

Champion the market

  • Build deep expertise in customers, competitors, industry trends, and market dynamics.
  • Translate market insights into differentiated positioning, compelling messaging, and actionable go-to-market strategies.
  • Represent Product Marketing in strategic planning and cross-functional decision making.
  • Champion the voice of the customer across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.

What are we looking for?

  • Significant experience in Product Marketing within a B2B SaaS organization.
  • Demonstrated success defining Product Marketing strategy and executing go-to-market initiatives that deliver measurable business results.
  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing Product Marketing teams.
  • Strong understanding of networking, IT operations, infrastructure technologies, or adjacent technical markets.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution in a player-coach environment.
  • Proven success developing positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for technical products.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
  • A data-driven mindset with experience defining success metrics, measuring performance, and optimizing business outcomes.

Are there bonus points?

  • Experience marketing products to IT professionals, MSPs, or network administrators.
  • Experience building and scaling Product Marketing teams within a high-growth SaaS organization.
  • Experience with analyst relations, competitive intelligence, or market research.
  • Pragmatic Marketing, Product Marketing Alliance, or similar certification.
  • Experience launching technical SaaS products in global markets.

We're actively hiring for this role and looking to bring someone great onto the team as soon as possible.
About Auvik

Auvik delivers cloud-based network management software that gives IT teams instant visibility and control over their infrastructure - whether on-site, remote, or dispersed across global networks. Our platform automates network discovery, mapping, monitoring, configuration backups, traffic analysis and alerting, so IT professionals and MSPs can manage complex, multi-site environments with ease.

We're focused on building a diverse and inclusive workforce. If you're excited about this role, but do not meet 100% of the qualifications listed above, we encourage you to apply. We are happy to make any accommodations you may need throughout the interview process as well.

Auvik is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, sex, orientation, national origin, age, disability, genetics or any other basis forbidden under federal, provincial, or local law.

Hiring Process

At Auvik, our hiring process is designed to be personal, transparent, and human-led. Our Talent Acquisition Partners review all resumes, connect with candidates whose skills and experience aligns with the role, and stay in communication with you throughout your journey. If our interests align, you'll meet with a hiring manager, as well as additional members of the hiring team in follow-up conversations. All of your interviews will take place via Zoom.

Before meeting with a hiring manager, we also ask candidates to complete a 5-minute Predictive Index (PI) assessment. This helps us understand and match your strengths and work preferences with roles that will set you up for success.

We use AI tools to support administrative tasks in the hiring process; such as helping source candidates, drafting communications, and interview summaries, so our team can stay focused and present during conversations. We do not use AI tools to interview, screen or assess candidates; or determine who moves forward in the process. We debrief and consider the full context of every conversation before making hiring decisions. We believe hiring requires judgment that can be augmented but, not replaced by AI.
