Sr. Network Architect

Under limited supervision, design and implement moderately complex enterprise data center networks in multi-vendor environments; gather data to identify client needs and use to identify, interpret, and evaluate system and network requirements; perform site surveys to determine cabling needs, MDF and IDF sizing, rack layout, number of drops and power/heat load requirements for network equipment; perform network modeling, analysis, and planning; adjust network sizes to meet volume and capacity demands; develop budget, select necessary products and provide cost estimates; develop network designs and build prototypes; coordinate with integration and test engineers to review design specifications; coordinate migration; configure and implement load balancing platforms; install, configure and troubleshoot switches; troubleshoot LAN related technologies; configure and troubleshoot routing technologies; set up ports and collect and analyze packet level information; monitor and analyze user data; develop disaster recovery plans and recommend network security measures; develop network documentation; monitor and analyze network performance and reports to detect problems; assist less experienced team members; and utilize the following tools and technologies: Cisco and Nexus Cores, Cisco Routers, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, Static Routing, EX 3200, EX 4500, Frame Relay, PPP/HDLC, VLAN, VTP, STP, NXOS, Wireshark, SYSLOG, and related tools.
