Job Description:
Cydecor is seeking a Senior Naval Architect to provide support to a Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) customer.
This role will support the analysis, evaluation, and oversight of technical and design requirements and performance for new and ongoing shipbuilding programs. Candidates should possess strong naval architecture and engineering fundamentals, as well as expertise with surface and undersea shipbuilding programs.
Responsibilities include:
  • Provide ship structure and design analyses
  • Study and establishment of ship design products and specifications.
  • Provide evaluation of ship performance.

Here's what you need:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience.
  • Relevant experience and expertise in Naval Architecture.
  • Experience and expertise in the DOD 5000 process and guidelines.
  • Interim or Active Secret clearance.

Bonus points if you have:
  • Master's degree in Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License.

Security Clearance:
Minimum: Interim or Active Secret security clearance; Preferred: Interim or Active Top Secret security clearance.
Education:
Bachelor's level degree in engineering or a related field.
Work Schedule:
M-F, Onsite
Compensation and Benefits:
The projected compensation range for this position is $115, 0000.00 - $180,000.00. There are numerous factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the role, work location, education/certifications, and a contract's Labor Categories.
