Job description

You will serve as an ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the Engineering Department, Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS of NAVOCEANO BAY ST LOUIS.Qualifications:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
  • Experience operating, maintaining, and calibrating complex electronics equipment and precision measurement tools.
  • Experience utilizing foundational skills such as soldering and de-soldering techniques, wire splicing, and routine safety procedures.
  • Experience troubleshooting, isolating, and repairing malfunctions down to the component level using schematic analyses and technical publications.
  • Experience performing material maintenance management and repairs.
  • Experience reading and interpreting technical orders, manufacture schematics, and system blueprints.
