Job description

Commercial Construction | High-Growth Firm | Leadership Track

WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT

At Bay to Bay, Senior Project Managers aren't paper-pushers or schedule babysitters - they are business unit leaders.

You'll run complex commercial projects end-to-end, influence how we build, and directly impact the direction, systems, and success of a rapidly growing construction management firm operating across Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

If you're a Project Manager who:

  • Wants more ownership and autonomy
  • Wants out of the weeds of the administrative side of construction
  • Wants a clear path to leadership
  • Thrives in fast-moving, high-accountability environments

...this role was built for you.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Project Leadership & Execution

  • Lead commercial construction projects from Project Hand-off through Close Out
  • Drive project planning, sequencing, and execution strategy
  • Proactively identify and communicate risks, conflicts, and opportunities

Financial & Contract Management

  • Full-time Project Administration Support Provided to each Project Manager
  • Lead Subcontractor Buyout and Scope Negotiation
  • Lead project financials, cost tracking, and change management
  • Support progress billings, pay applications, and change orders

Team & Subcontractor Leadership

  • Build strong, accountable relationships with subcontractors and field teams
  • Provide leadership, direction, and mentoring to Field and Admin Project Teams to promote a high-performing team.
  • Lead weekly meetings with Project Teams

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as primary point of contact for Owners and Consultants for assigned Projects
  • Run client meetings with confidence, clarity, and candor
  • Infiltrate Bay to Bay's core values into every interaction.

Growth & Process Improvement

  • We have systems and processes - and they should always be evolving and improving!
  • Help shape how we build as the company scales
  • Mentor junior PMs and contribute to leadership development

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ Years of commercial construction within a LARGE Construction Firm
  • Strong understanding of the Construction PM lifecycle
  • Willingness to LEARN THE BAY TO BAY WAY
  • Experience with subcontractor buyout, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control
  • Strong leadership presence and excellent communication skills - both written and verbal

WHAT YOU'LL GET

  • Competitive compensation aligned with performance; including both a project specific bonus AND profit-sharing
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • Real influence in a fast-growing company with direct line to ownership
  • Collaborative, high-accountability culture
  • Exposure to fast-turning, high complex projects across Southeast
  • Clear runway to senior leadership involvement

THE BOTTOM LINE

This is not a role for someone who wants to "just manage projects at a different construction company" or who is strictly seeking "a better culture with better systems".

This role is for a Senior Project Manager who wants ownership, visibility, growth, and impact.

Additional Information

  • This position has two (2) open vacancies.
  • Relocation assistance is available.
