Senior Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager (MEP) | Fort Lauderdale, FL | $120K

We're seeking a results-driven Senior Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager to lead complex HVAC and MEP projects in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This hybrid role is ideal for a technical leader who can own mechanical design, manage projects end-to-end, and drive strong client relationships.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead HVAC system design (air distribution, hydronic systems, ventilation, load calculations)
  • Manage full project lifecycle: scope, schedule, budget (P&L), and deliverables
  • Develop and review construction drawings, specifications, and energy-efficient designs (Revit/AutoCAD)
  • Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, Florida Building Code, and energy standards
  • Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, and architectural teams for integrated MEP solutions
  • Serve as primary client contact, leading meetings and ensuring project success
  • Review submittals, respond to RFIs, and support construction administration
  • Mentor junior engineers and support team development

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering and project management (MEP/HVAC)
  • Strong background in HVAC design, building systems, and energy codes
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and load calculation tools (HAP, TRACE, etc.)
