Mechanical Engineer

Ft. Lauderdale

Direct Hire/ Permanent, 100k – 150k, Full benefits, health /dental /vision, profit sharing, 401K, etc.

THE CLIENT

This particular client is a small - mid-sized MEPFP firm who have been around for almost 50 years.

They work a variety of Building types: Healthcare, Data Centers, Hotels, Hi-Rise residential, Airports,

Commercial, Government, Civic, Industrial, etc.

OVERVIEW

The ideal Candidate will work with clients to define and confirm project scopes of work, do field surveys, engineering calculations, codes, develop conceptual design, detailed design documents, construction drawings and specifications, support services, project management, leadership, and coordinate design resources and activities.


ROLE/ RESPONSIBILITIES/ HIGHLY PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Prepare mechanical system construction documents

• Technical design and quality control, mechanical system calculations and layouts

• Produce of construction document, Construction administration, site visits, and shop drawing review

• Project Management

• Revit, AutoCAD, Trane Trace

• HVAC system, ductwork, and hydronic design

• BSME, BSAE or similar with 5+ years’ experience

• EIT or PE (preferred)

• No VISA sponsorship available
