In this role, you'll help deliver innovative mechanical systems for projects across aviation, commercial, healthcare, science, corporate, and federal markets while working alongside architects, engineers, and designers in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys solving complex design challenges, mentoring others, and building lasting client relationships while contributing to projects that have a lasting impact on the communities we serve.

  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and project planning.
  • Support proposals and business development efforts.
  • Review engineering work for technical quality and mentor junior engineers.
  • Perform quality control reviews and provide construction phase support, including field observations as needed.
  • Maintain professional licensure and stay current with evolving codes, standards, and industry best practices.

  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing.
  • 7+ years of MEP building design experience.
  • Experience designing portions of large, complex projects or managing multiple mid-sized projects.
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers and reviewing technical work.
  • Working knowledge of FBC, IBC, ASHRAE, NFPA, and related building codes.
  • Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience leading design teams and coordinating multidisciplinary projects.
  • Experience managing or supervising staff.
  • Experience with both building and site design.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Due to federal contract requirements, applicants must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting business development and client engagement.
  • Ability to obtain engineering licensure in multiple states.
  • NCEES Record.

As the Denver mechanical engineering practice continues to grow, this role offers a clear opportunity for increased leadership responsibility, including mentoring, team development, and future people management.
