Job Description

The Senior Manager, Business Integration will drive end-to-end business integration across the enterprise and with executive leaders and directly drive the integration of acquisitions, divestitures and partnerships through deal sourcing, due diligence and valuation. As the enterprise architect of integration, the role will drive cross-functional enterprise alignment and ensure that M&A activities drive Pilot forward. This role will have direct and critical impact on business growth and long-term value creation while working shoulder-to-shoulder with senior executives and fostering measurable results across the organization.

  • Drive post-merger integration by aligning people, processes, systems and culture
  • Track and deliver synergy targets through disciplined program management using hybrid methodologies and standardized integration benchmarks, KPIs and OKRs
  • Lead cross functional workstreams for business migration, operational integration and team member onboarding while ensuring all partners deliver expected results
  • Use Agile practices to adjust integration activities as deal requirements evolve and support strong consumer and employee experiences during transitions
  • Create and deploy the enterprise M&A integration playbook, mentor teams on best practices, and conduct after action reviews for continuous improvement
  • Facilitate integration updates and outcomes to senior executives while managing risks, communications and change across functions and fostering a culture of trust, collaboration and inclusion within the team
  • Support assessment of acquisition and partnership opportunities
  • Drive operational and financial diligence to assess integration feasibility and risks and model synergies to forecast deal outcomes such as Tech and back-office compatibility
Qualifications

We are seeking applicants with a local presence in Knoxville, TN or the surrounding communities.

  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 10+ years' experience in M&A integration or program management 
  • Proven track record leading at least one integration of at least $50M, achieving synergies
  • 7+ years of people leadership experience, especially leading distributed teams
  • Strong financial and analytical skills: synergy modeling, deal integration budgeting, ROI tracking 
  • Expertise in risk management, program management, change management, PDLC, DevOps, Agile, Lean/Six Sigma
  • Ability to present to executives, navigate ambiguity and drive accountability
  • High integrity, urgency and accountability; demonstrated servant leadership and emotional intelligence
