Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused PMO Manager to lead and evolve project and program management across our Marketing organization. This role will drive operational excellence by establishing scalable delivery frameworks, improving cross-functional alignment, and ensuring high-impact marketing initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and with measurable business impact.
This leader blends strong program management expertise with deep understanding of marketing execution. They bring structure, clarity, and scalability to a fast-paced, global environment.
Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this role partners closely with Product Business Units and Central Marketing to manage a complex portfolio of initiatives and translate marketing strategies into scalable, repeatable execution. The role is highly cross-functional, collaborating with go-to-market teams and operations counterparts to support efforts that drive revenue, promote the success of product launches, deepen our presence in strategic markets, and ensure the success of events, both in-person and virtual, as well as cross-functional initiatives.
Responsibilities
Manage and execute the strategic agenda for marketing technology tools and platforms and integrate these technologies with other business systems to streamline workflows, ensure alignment and collaboration on go-to-market strategies, and improve data accuracy. Strong cross-functional abilities are required to lead these efforts across Sales, Product, Customer Success, Marketing Automation, and Business Intelligence.
  • PMO Leadership & Strategy
    • Define and lead the Marketing PMO vision, operating model, and organizational structure to enable scalable execution
    • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of program and project managers
    • Establish and continuously improve standardized project management methodologies, tools, and governance frameworks
    • Define and track PMO KPIs, reporting frameworks, and success metrics tied to business outcomes
    • Lead with a people-first mindset, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, empathy, transparency, and continuous improvement
  • Portfolio & Program Management
    • Establish and lead a standardized prioritization framework that balances marketing capacity, timelines, and business impact across competing initiatives
    • Partner with marketing leadership to plan, prioritize, and allocate resources across key marketing initiatives such as; campaigns, product launches, and events (virtual and in-person)
    • Oversee and manage the global PMO portfolio, including intake, prioritization, resource allocation, and execution
    • Manage cross-portfolio dependencies, risks, and resource allocation to ensure consistent delivery against scope, timeline, and budget
    • Provide clear, ongoing visibility into portfolio health, risks, dependencies, and outcomes to executive stakeholders
  • Marketing Operations & Execution
    • Optimize end-to-end marketing workflows from planning through execution and measurement
    • Partner with Product Business Units and Central Marketing to build and document scalable systems, processes, and workflows for program execution excellence
    • Ensure consistent execution standards across campaigns, product launches, events (in-person and virtual), and other marketing initiatives
    • Design, implement, and continuously optimize repeatable, scalable operating processes to improve speed to market and execution consistency
  • Analytics & Performance Enablement
    • Partner with marketing analytics to define KPIs, dashboards, and reporting standards
    • Use data-driven insights to improve prioritization, performance, and ROI
    • Enable real-time visibility into portfolio and project performance
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Serve as the primary liaison between Marketing leadership, functional teams, and PMO execution teams
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to marketing and cross-functional leaders
    • Deliver executive-level reporting on portfolio progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes
    • Facilitate governance forums, including steering committees and prioritization reviews as needed
  • Tools & Technology
    • Evaluate, implement, and optimize PMO and marketing workflow tools (e.g., project management, resource planning, reporting platforms)
    • Drive adoption of tools and best practices across global team
    • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines and resource allocation.
    • Collaborate with content development, regional marketing, paid, campaigns, web, and other marketing teams to develop and execute marketing programs including product launches and large integrated event campaigns.
    • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
    • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
    • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
    • Ensure all marketing materials and campaigns align with brand guidelines and company objectives.
    • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in program management, PMO leadership, or marketing operations, with at least 5 years leading a PMO
  • Experience supporting global marketing organizations or marketing operation
  • Strong understanding of marketing workflows, campaign management, and go-to-market processes
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives at scale
  • Experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, Jira)
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills: able to clearly convey information to diverse stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in B2B SaaS or high-growth technology environments
  • Prior ownership of global marketing operations or GTM execution functions, PMP, PgMP, or similar certification
  • Familiarity with Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Experience building PMO functions from the ground up or scaling existing teams
  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing campaigns including experience managing projects that include large events, paid digital, organic social, PR, customer community, email promotion, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience successfully partnering with cross-functional departments such as Corporate Marketing, Product Marketing, Channel, and Demand Generation.
  • Clear decision-making skills; you are someone who naturally steps up and takes ownership of all aspects of a campaign or event.
  • Strong ability to operate with a people-first mindset, including both internal and external stakeholders.
  • History of building trust across teams through written and verbal communications.
