Join our dynamic team as a Manager of Product Management, where you'll take ownership of the product life cycle, product roadmaps, value propositions, P&L management, and cross-functional collaboration, while leading and developing a small team of product managers. This is a player-coach role with the opportunity to lead highly impactful, innovative product launches, optimize product offerings, ensure business profitability, and grow the next generation of product management talent.

The Impact You'll Drive:

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 2 direct reports, providing regular feedback, guidance, and career development support.
  • Partner with team members on strategy and execution work, unblocking issues and pressure-testing plans before they move forward.
  • Set priorities and workload distribution across the team to ensure effective coverage, while personally owning product line responsibilities alongside the team.
  • Support onboarding and skill-building for team members, and help establish best practices and ways of working for the broader product management team.

Product Life Cycle Management

  • Drive launch excellence by developing business cases, securing project approvals, and defining scope with a customer-centric lens.
  • Create full-scale go-to-market plans to ensure customer adoption, profitability, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance customer experience via innovative product offerings, implementing product upgrades or discontinuations.
  • Own the execution of life cycle decisions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and ability to pivot as needed to achieve targets.

P&L Responsibility

  • Manage product line profitability by analyzing financial impacts and making strategic P&L decisions alongside Product Pricing analyst and Commercial Finance.
  • Recommend and establish final pricing strategies to optimize revenue and market positioning.

Product Strategy

  • Develop compelling value propositions and inform go-to-market (GTM) strategies.
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of product roadmaps, aligning with market trends and long-term strategy goals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to align objectives and deliver results.
  • Influence and lead cross-functional initiatives with exemplary communication and a collaborative mindset.

What Sets You Up for Success:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Product Management or a related role, including demonstrated experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with experience developing business cases and profitability targets.
  • Advanced project management capabilities and the ability to drive cross-functional alignment to meet business objectives on time.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a talent for influencing and collaboration.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (Excel, ERP, CRM systems).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
  • Knowledge of fenestration / building industry a plus.
