WHAT YOU'LL DOIn this role you support our customers in Assembly, Body Shop, and Paint Shop planning, depending on your expertise and experience. You will take responsibility for equipment concepting, provision system design, milestone-driven planning, and cross-functional coordination with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Your responsibilities depending on your role and expertise:
  • Support automotive OEMs as an on-site logistics planning consultant.
  • Develop logistics concepts for Assembly, Body Shop, or Paint Shop.
  • Define equipment needs (trolleys, racks, industrial trucks, charging systems, special equipment).
  • Create layout drafts and material flow concepts.
  • Detail provision systems for sequencing, KLT handling, tugger trains, and internal transport.
  • Prepare planning documents, specifications, and investment lists.
  • Align with production, engineering, quality, and safety teams.
  • Coordinate interfaces with suppliers and equipment manufacturers.
  • Contribute to milestone planning, verification phases, and trial builds.
  • Evaluate logistics constraints and propose technical solutions.
  • Ensure planning is aligned with standards and internal guidelines.
  • Support change management processes and evaluate impacts.
  • Prepare presentations and status reports for client management.
  • For senior roles: lead the overall planning scope and orchestrate workstreams, act as main contact for client stakeholders and ensure planning transparency, support with internal usiness development.

WHO YOU ARE
  • You hold a degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical or Automotive Engineering, Production & Operations Management or a similar field.
  • You have a background in automotive logistics planning or industrialization projects.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and ability to translate requirements into solutions.
  • Confident communicator with experience in cross-functional environments.
  • Skilled in MS Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and general planning tools.
  • Structured, reliable, and able to work independently within client teams.
  • Experience with material flow concepts and equipment planning.
  • Familiarity with sequencing, KLT logistics, and tugger train systems (Assembly roles).
  • Knowledge of Catia V5 or CCP is a plus (Assembly roles).
  • Body Shop experience and understanding of material flows and cycle times (Body Shop roles).
  • Experience with MicroStation or similar layout tools (Body Shop roles).
  • Understanding of paint-related constraints such as temperature, chemicals, and access rules (Paint Shop roles).
  • Ability to manage milestones, planning freezes, and industrialization phases.
  • Comfortable working under time pressure and with evolving project requirements.
  • You are comfortable with extensive travel (up to 100% of your working time), typically Monday through Friday, depending on client and project needs.).
  • You are legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Senior roles: proven track record leading logistics planning in major automotive projects.
