Seabrook Village by Erickson Senior Living
The Jewish Community Administrative Assistant is responsible for general administrative support for the Seabrook Jewish Community (SBJC). Other duties include answering telephones, data entry, ordering supplies and assisting with various tasks as needed.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience from $21-$25 per hour.
This role offers a per diem schedule with variable hours on Tuesdays and Fridays, plus additional hours as needed.
How you will make an impact
  • Compose and type correspondence for the Seabrook Jewish Community.
  • Administer and maintain calendars for various staff using Microsoft Outlook. Schedule meetings and appointments.
  • Coordinate Seabrook Jewish Community events.
  • Order and maintain supplies and arranges for equipment maintenance for the SBJC and code invoices to be approved for payment.
  • Fax documents and copy material as needed for the SBJC.
  • Perform and manage clerical and administrative responsibilities for day-to-day operations and programming of SBJC.
  • Answer telephone calls and assist with general inquiries.
  • Assist with creating and/or updating documents and reports using various software, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Maintain the Erickson Senior Living philosophy and Vision statements
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident and staff information.
  • Perform other administrative duties as requested.
  • Contact spiritual leaders to ensure provision of services required by a clerical person, and those services preferred from a clergy to Jewish residents.

What you will need
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Minimum of 3 years as a secretary or administrative assistant in a professional office setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform all clerical duties as directed.
  • Knowledge and proficiency of computers and willingness to further educate oneself.
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, perform work at a fast pace in a shared workspace with others.
