Software Engineer (Mid-Senior Level)

Full-Time | On-Site | TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph Required

We are seeking a Mid-to-Senior Level Software Engineer with at least 6 years of software development experience and a technical bachelor’s degree to support development efforts in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Responsibilities
  • Develop software solutions using technologies such as Java, Python, JavaScript, CSS, and SQL
  • Analyze user and system requirements to support software design and implementation
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues
  • Develop new features and enhance existing codebases based on mission and customer requirements
  • Apply scientific and analytical methodologies to solve technical challenges
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including system and user documentation
  • Integrate software components and external systems using native or custom APIs
  • Apply secure coding principles throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Analyze application performance and collaborate with engineering teams to optimize workflows, usage, and system efficiency
  • Participate in and lead code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices
  • Design and implement algorithms that meet functional and performance requirements
  • Develop and execute automated testing procedures and frameworks
  • Design and modify software solutions using mathematical and analytical models to predict and measure outcomes
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 6 years of software development experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (additional experience may be substituted where applicable)
  • IAT Level II certification or equivalent certification meeting federal cybersecurity requirements
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph
