Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your role will include, but is not limited to, the following key responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough clinical assessments to determine the mental health needs of clients and developing individualized treatment plans based on established best practices.
  • Implementing a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based methods, tailored specifically to each client's unique situation.
  • Maintaining detailed and accurate clinical records while adhering to HIPAA regulations and other relevant compliance standards.
  • Collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team to coordinate comprehensive care, ensuring all aspects of a clientโ€™s health are addressed.
  • Engaging in regular team meetings and peer reviews to discuss cases and share insights to enhance service delivery.
  • Providing education and support to clients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources.
  • Staying informed about the latest research and methodologies in mental health to integrate new knowledge into practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a wide demographic, including individuals facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your expertise will be vital in creating a supportive atmosphere that empowers clients to achieve their treatment goals and engage actively in their healing process.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, with a track record of providing psychotherapy.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various solution-based psychotherapy interventions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills necessary for effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficient problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • A proven ability to work harmoniously in a team-based environment.
Preferred Experience
