What You Will Be Doing

The Warehouse Operations Manager at Puresan oversees daily logistics operations, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, and facility maintenance, ensuring efficient and accurate product flow. In this role, youโ€™ll lead warehouse personnel, manage workflows, and drive performance to consistently meet operational, financial, and quality targets. As the manager, you enforce strict compliance with OSHA, FDA, and cGMP standards while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized facility. Additionally, they monitor service levels, resolve operational issues, and support continuous improvement through KPI development and process enhancements. Youโ€™ll also contribute to strategic planning and budget management to align warehouse operations with Puresanโ€™s overall business objectives.


Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM โ€“ 5:00 PM

Location: Wyckoff, New Jersey (in-office)

Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 annually


Warehouse Operations Manager Duties and Responsibilities

Operational Management

  • Manage inventory control, shipping, receiving, and material handling.
  • Oversee general maintenance for all warehouse equipment and vehicles
  • Direct distribution, transportation, and daily warehouse logistics.
  • Ensure operations align with company values, policies, and vision.
  • Monitor receipts, shipments, storage, and fulfillment accuracy.
  • Resolve operational exceptions, problems, and logistical errors quickly.

Compliance & Quality Control

  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping regulations.
  • Maintain strict compliance with OSHA, FDA, and regulatory agencies.
  • Enforce cGMP disciplines and good housekeeping practices.
  • Oversee facility organization, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation.
  • Monitor service quality for internal and external customers.

Leadership & Performance

  • Plan daily workflows and assign staff tasks appropriately.
  • Supervise, coach, and appraise assigned personnel performance.
  • Create and implement effective activity staff schedules.
  • Ensure the team achieves operational, financial, and quality targets.

Strategy & Financials

  • Produce regular reports on inventory and facility order status.
  • Assist senior management in developing long-term goals.
  • Recommend KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and process improvements.

Warehouse Operations Manager Requirements and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of warehouse management experience, preferably within the cleaning supply distribution industry. (Required)
  • Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems. DDI Systems experience is preferred. (Required)
  • Proven experience managing inventory control, shipping/receiving, transportation, and overall warehouse logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, FDA, and regulatory compliance standards, including cGMP practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop teams while driving performance against operational and financial targets.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for reporting and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to quickly resolve operational issues.
  • Operate a company vehicle, as needed.
  • Familiarity with KPI development, tracking, and performance analytics.
  • Ability to manage budgets, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
