Job description

The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the warehouse operations and ensure efficiency and accuracy in our logistics and inventory management. Activities include the daily management of warehouse and logistics personnel and required close coordination with groups across various functional departments.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training and support.
  • Providing leadership for the Receiving and Stores groups; includes administration of employee performance.
  • Oversee inventory strategy for site. Works closely with Procurement, Planning, Finance and Continuous Improvement to achieve optimal stocking and provisioning polices.
  • Improve the kitting processes within the facility, and establishing metrics to drive working capital to acceptable thresholds and working across organizations to improve customer service
  • Maintaining 98+% Inventory Accuracy by completing daily cycle counting of A, B and C level parts.
  • Supporting a culture of Continual Improvement and an ISO 9001.2015 registered QMS through leadership of Operational Excellence metrics and presentation of metric performance to Senior Leadership at the monthly Operations Reviews.
  • Assisting the Operations Team in developing, implementing and improving both quality and business processes and documentation.
  • Ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley in relation to Inventory Control.
  • Will support all lean supply chain initiatives.
  • Enforce safety procedures and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements in warehouse operations.
  • Prepare and maintain reports on inventory levels, order statuses, and warehouse performance metrics.
