Assuring material availability against program schedules; identifying discrepancies and working cross-functionally to resolve supply gaps and mitigate risk
Identifying process gaps and driving continuous improvement efforts across inventory and material handling workflows
Serving as a technical expert in ERP/MRP systems and reporting tools(PIEE); proactively implementing improvements to systems and processes
Leading and supporting specialized functions such as shipping/receiving, Kanban systems, inventory accuracy initiatives, and test equipment management
Mentoring and training Property Administrators; providing guidance, and support for team development
Participating in hiring, onboarding, and performance development of team members
Providing input into team strategy, workload planning, and resource allocation
Acting as back-up to the Property Manager as needed, including coverage during absences

This role requires minimal supervision and a high level of accountability. The ideal candidate consistently demonstrates strong judgment, ownership, and the ability to operate independently while supporting broader team success.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of experience in materials management, inventory administration, or property management within aerospace, defense, or a similarly regulated environment
Demonstrated hands-on experience with Government Property regulations (FAR/DFARS), including accountability and audit readiness for GFP/CFP (required)
Proven ability to operate independently as a subject matter expert in Government Property with minimal oversight
Experience supporting audits, customer inquiries, and compliance-related activities
