Job Summary

SUMMARY

Working under the direction of the Perioperative Services Supply Chain Manager, position monitors and orders inventory based on established parameters utilizing inventory system. Provides staff training and support, participates/leads in performance improvement initiatives and assures quality customer support in a consistent, professional and responsive manner.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Evaluates/adjusts PAR levels and performs product counts to maintain accurate order levels for all storeroom inventory.
  • Ensures all products are labeled correctly in bin locations and update system as needed.
  • Fills/processes orders as received and investigates/corrects stockouts as needed.
  • Maintains stock locations and storeroom in clean/orderly manner; rotates inventory for short date in front, monitors and removes expired inventory and document in system.
  • Responsible for code cart and black box replenishment, maintenance, and documentation.
  • Must possess an ability to deal effectively with employees, patients, internal/ external customers, and outside vendors.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • One to three years of equivalent experience and/or training in customer service or in a distribution center.
