Job description

Standard Job Description
This position is for an Expediter Senior for the Production Planning and Control team. This team is responsible for supporting production execution by coordinating the movement of materials and parts to meet schedule demands, maintain inventory accuracy, and keep operations running efficiently.
As the Expediter Manufacturing Senior, you will be responsible for helping ensure material is in the right place at the right time to support production schedules, program priorities, and customer commitments while maintaining accurate records and supporting inventory control activities.
What You Will Be Doing
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Expedite, route, dispatch, and stage materials and parts according to production schedules and program priorities
• Monitor the master production schedule to identify shortages, schedule risks, or material constraints and alert the appropriate stakeholders
• Maintain accurate SAP entries, DOT paperwork, shipment records, and documentation of completed orders
• Load and unload shipments and coordinate in house transportation of materials
• Perform physical and systematic material movements to support production needs
• Locate, pull, deliver, and stage material to designated production areas
• Assist with work order issues, inventory control activities, and material discrepancy resolution
• Communicate material status, shortages, delays, and priority changes to planners, warehousing, operations, quality, and leadership as needed
• Support inventory accuracy by ensuring material movements and system transactions are completed correctly
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as required
• Follow all safety, quality, DOT, compliance, and operational requirements in a manufacturing environment
Basic Qualifications
• Experience working in warehouse, manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, material management, or production environment
• Experience with material movement, inventory control, expediting, shipping, receiving, or production support activities
• Experience using computer based systems to track material, update records, or process transactions
• Ability to review production schedules, identify material shortages, and communicate issues to the appropriate teams
• Ability to perform physical material handling activities, including loading, unloading, staging, and moving material
• Ability to operate or obtain certification to operate forklifts and material handling equipment
• Ability to successfully complete and maintain all required physical assessment testing for the role, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adjust to changing production priorities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams
• Ability to work full time onsite in Camden, AR
Desired Skills
• Experience using SAP, Apriso, WMS, MES, or similar inventory, warehouse, or production systems
• Experience maintaining SAP entries, DOT paperwork, shipping documentation, or completed order records
• Forklift certification or prior forklift experience
• Experience supporting defense, aerospace, ordnance, ammunition, or manufacturing operations
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, kitting, staging, shipping, receiving, and material flow processes
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $32000.00 - $59400.00

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
