The role offers strong visibility with leadership and requires the ability to analyze complex supply chain data, present clear findings and recommendations, and drive continuous improvement efforts that directly impact factory performance. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic manufacturing setting and enjoys combining strategic purchasing, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration, with potential to grow into a manager role over time.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with manufacturing, planning, and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of materials that meet production schedules and demand.

  • Optimize inventory performance by monitoring key indicators, adjusting purchasing strategies, and supporting initiatives that reduce inventory risk and cost.
  • Support cost reduction initiatives by identifying opportunities for savings, negotiating with suppliers, and recommending alternative sourcing options where appropriate.
  • Analyze complex supply chain data and present clear, concise findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts in procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory control to enhance overall factory performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve material availability issues, expedite critical orders, and maintain smooth production operations.
  • Ensure purchasing activities comply with requirements for medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated environments, as applicable.

  • Experience purchasing in medical device, pharmaceuticals, or other regulated environments.
  • Strong purchasing and procurement skills, including creating and managing purchase orders.
  • Working knowledge of SAP for purchasing and inventory-related activities.
  • Familiarity with APICS concepts or frameworks related to planning and supply chain management.
  • Ability to analyze supply chain and inventory data to identify trends and develop insights.

  • Interest in career growth with potential to move into a manager role within approximately 3–5 years.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement in procurement and inventory management.
