Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: Long Term Contract
Job Summary:
Seeking a highly experienced Azure & .NET Senior Integration Engineer to build, test, deploy, and operate enterprise-grade integration solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
Execute integration designs provided by the Integration Solutions Architect by developing production-quality .NET applications, configuring Azure messaging/API services, and implementing CI/CD, monitoring, and documentation.
Design and implement scalable, secure, reliable integration solutions using Azure, .NET, REST APIs, microservices, messaging, event-driven architectures, and enterprise integration patterns.
Work closely with Product, Engineering, Business, and Architecture teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable integration solutions using Azure, .NET, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
Develop secure applications using OAuth2, JWT, Azure AD, Managed Identity, and App Registrations.
Deploy and manage applications using Azure App Service, Azure Container Apps, and Azure Functions.
Implement enterprise integration patterns including Publish/Subscribe, Request/Reply, Content-Based Routing, Message Transformation, Claim Check, Saga/Process Manager, Retry, Dead-Letter Handling, and Circuit Breaker.
Build and manage containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Container Apps, App Service, and Azure Functions.
Configure and maintain Azure messaging and event-driven solutions using Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, and Event Hubs.
Configure and operate APIs through Azure API Management (APIM).
Build and maintain integration workflows using Azure Logic Apps and Azure Data Factory.
Integrate relational, NoSQL, and caching technologies including Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Azure Cache for Redis.
Implement cloud security and identity standards using Azure Key Vault, Managed Identity, Private Link/Private Endpoints, WAF, and OAuth-based authentication.
Develop and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and make routine changes to Terraform configurations.
Implement application and platform monitoring using Application Insights, Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, KQL, alerts, and dashboards.
Troubleshoot complex production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Optimize integration solutions for performance, reliability, scalability, efficiency, and security.
Track KPI and SLA metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, standards, and solution processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional Product, Engineering, Business, and Process teams to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.
Support project timelines, budgets, deliverables, and other assigned initiatives.
Participate in occasional weekend support and other duties as required.
Required Skills:
8+ years of IT engineering experience focused on designing, developing, and maintaining IT solutions.
5 8+ years of strong .NET development experience with:
o C#
o ASP.NET Core
o Background/Worker Services
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure integration services.
Hands-on experience with Azure Container Apps, Azure App Service, and Azure Functions.
Working knowledge of Azure Virtual Machines, VNets, Private Endpoints, NSGs, Application Gateway, and Front Door.
Production experience with Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, and/or Event Hubs.
Hands-on experience with Azure API Management (APIM).
Experience building and maintaining Azure Logic Apps workflows.
Experience with Azure Data Factory.
Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, SOA, APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.
Experience with Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Azure Cache for Redis.
Experience with Azure Blob Storage and Azure Files.
Hands-on experience with Managed Identity, Azure Key Vault, Private Link/Private Endpoints, App Registrations, OAuth, OAuth2, JWT, and Azure AD.
Experience building and maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
Working knowledge of Terraform/IaC.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes or similar containerization technologies.
Strong experience with Application Insights, Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, KQL, alerts, and dashboards.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
Strong understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and performance-aware data access.
Ability to implement standard enterprise integration patterns based on architectural designs.
Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and high-level designs.
Experience working with cloud environments such as Azure and AWS.
Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Financial Services, Auto Lending, or Automotive industries.
Exposure to graph database concepts, including Azure Cosmos DB for Apache Gremlin.
Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric.
