Description

Data Intelligence is seeking a highly experienced Senior Special Technologies Engineering and Integration Specialist to support the U.S. Navy under the NSWCDD DNA ISEA STEI contract located in Virgina Beach, VA. This role focuses on advanced engineering, integration, and deployment of complex computing environments (COE), with an emphasis on secure dataflow, system interoperability, and mission-driven network architecture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, integrate, and maintain COE systems across enterprise and mission environments
  • Configure and manage secure wired and wireless networks (routers, switches, firewalls)
  • Engineer and manage COE dataflows, including data ingestion, transformation, and compliance with enterprise repositories
  • Develop and implement data routing methodologies to support mission execution and post-mission delivery
  • Administer and deploy Windows and Linux systems in both physical and virtualized environments
  • Manage virtual infrastructure (VMware/vSphere)
  • Utilize Apache NiFi for dataflow automation and integration
  • Perform system and network security engineering, including implementation and enforcement of security controls
  • Support configuration management processes (tracking requirements, risks, bugs, and system changes)

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in:
    • COE system design, implementation, and deployment
    • Network engineering (wired/wireless) including routers, switches, firewalls
  • DoD 8570/8140 compliant certification - minimum IAT Level II
    • (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.)
  • 3+ years of experience with:
    • COE dataflow configuration and management
    • Data leveling, transformation, and ingestion protocols
    • Enterprise data repository compliance
  • 3+ years of experience in:
    • Windows Active Directory / Primary Domain Controller (PDC)
    • Windows and Linux system administration and deployment
    • Virtualization (VMware/vSphere)
    • Apache NiFi
    • Configuration management practices
    • System and network security engineering
  • Active Top Secret / SCI clearance
