Job Description Clinical Applications Support Analyst - HCHB / Pointcare / Home Health Systems Location: Louisville, KY 40222 Pay Rate: $48.45/hr Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Work Arrangement: Hybrid
  • First two weeks onsite at the Louisville Support Center for orientation
  • After onboarding: Minimum 3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week
Position Overview We are seeking a Clinical Applications Support Analyst with hands-on experience supporting Homecare Homebase (HCHB), Pointcare, and integrated healthcare applications. This role will provide functional and technical support for clinical systems used in home health and post-acute care environments. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of home health workflows, clinical operations, EMR/application support, system integrations, and end-user support. This position works closely with clinical teams, IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, support enhancements, and optimize clinical application performance. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day application support for Homecare Homebase (HCHB), Pointcare, and connected clinical systems.
  • Support and troubleshoot clinical workflows related to home health operations, patient care processes, documentation, scheduling, and operational workflows.
  • Investigate and resolve application incidents, service requests, and user issues impacting clinical operations.
  • Support application integrations and data flow between HCHB, Pointcare, and related healthcare systems to ensure accurate and reliable information exchange.
  • Partner with vendors, IT teams, and business stakeholders to troubleshoot integration issues and implement solutions.
  • Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, testing, and implementation activities.
  • Perform functional testing to validate system changes before production deployment.
  • Analyze recurring application issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend process or system improvements.
  • Manage incidents and requests using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, including documentation, escalation, and follow-up through resolution.
  • Develop and maintain application documentation, workflows, knowledge articles, and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide end-user training, application guidance, and support materials to improve system adoption.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience supporting healthcare clinical applications or EMR systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Homecare Homebase (HCHB), Pointcare, or similar home health clinical applications.
  • Strong understanding of home health workflows, clinical operations, and healthcare technology environments.
  • Experience supporting application integrations, interfaces, and data exchange between healthcare systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting production issues and providing application support to clinical users.
  • Experience with system testing, upgrades, enhancements, and implementation support.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both technical teams and clinical end users.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Home Health, Rehabilitation, Hospice, or Post-Acute Care applications.
  • Experience with HCHB Agency Management and Pointcare.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools.
  • Experience supporting EMR integrations and vendor-managed healthcare applications.
  • Experience developing user documentation and delivering application training.
