ย In This Role You Will:

  • Performs routine patrols of the community; including but not limited to, buildings, grounds, surrounding areas and resident units.
  • Monitors community activity visually and through provided surveillance tools and equipment.
  • Completes through and fact- based security and/or incident reports, as necessary.
  • Manages after-hour entry and exits onto the campus and community buildings. Secures gates, doors, and other access points as required by departmental policy.
  • Responds to alarms, pull cords and other alerts and notifications in a timely manner. Coordinates arrival of, and directs, emergency vehicles to the correct location and provides access to entry, as needed.
  • Responds to, and investigates, reports of suspicious activity. Assists with escorting discharged employees, trespassers, and other unwelcome visitors off property.
  • Ensures the upmost confidentiality and professionalism with all matters involving residents, employees and others. Complies with HIPAA regulations and other federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, codes, and rules.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Shift Details:

  • Fulltime 1st shift (8a-4p), will be required to work every other weekend and some holidaysย 

Who You Are:

  • Must have a valid, unrestricted driverโ€™s license.
  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent and must be able to acquire sufficient knowledge and learn new skills through on-the-job training and instructions to satisfactorily meet job performance requirements.
  • A team player and have passion to serve the elderly!
