The FORMULA 1 HEINEKEN LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX has rapidly become a world-class event in its first three years. This three-day spectacle attracts a global audience to witness the world's greatest drivers and cars navigate the iconic Las Vegas Strip at breathtaking speeds approaching 200 mph.
SUMMARY OF JOB
The Senior Graphic Designer reports directly to the Senior Director, Marketing and plays a key role within the Marketing Department, helping shape and elevate the visual identity of the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix brand. This individual will own the development and execution of high-impact creative solutions across integrated marketing campaigns, digital platforms, social media, events, partnerships, and internal initiatives.
The Senior Graphic Designer will serve as a creative partner to the Marketing team and cross-functional departments, translating business objectives into compelling visual experiences while maintaining consistency with LVGP brand standards. This role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking, creative ownership, design expertise, and the ability to independently manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Formula 1 and Las Vegas Grand Prix brand standards, visual identity, and creative guidelines while helping evolve the overall look and feel of the brand
  • Own the creative development of campaigns and initiatives from concept through execution, ensuring design solutions align with marketing objectives, brand strategy, and audience goals
  • Develop original creative concepts, design systems, templates, and visual assets across digital, social, print, experiential, and event-based applications
  • Lead the design direction for high-visibility projects, including major marketing campaigns, race-week initiatives, partnerships, entertainment activations, and cross-departmental creative needs
  • Establish and maintain visual standards to ensure consistency, quality, and brand alignment across all LVGP touchpoints
  • Partner closely with Marketing leadership to contribute to creative strategy, campaign ideation, and the development of new visual approaches
  • Independently prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing timelines, business needs, and creative quality with minimal oversight
  • Collaborate with internal departments including Marketing, Partnerships, Ticketing, HR, Operations, and other stakeholders to deliver effective visual solutions
  • Provide creative guidance, mentorship, and feedback to junior designers and team members to elevate design quality and maintain LVGP standards
  • Support the evolution of website and app user experiences through thoughtful UI/UX design, wireframes, and mockups
  • Present creative concepts and design recommendations to stakeholders, incorporating feedback while maintaining strategic creative direction
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience
  • 5-7+ years of experience as a graphic designer, visual designer, or similar creative role
  • Proven experience leading creative projects and developing campaigns across multiple channels
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, creative ownership, brand development, and diverse design capabilities
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Advanced working knowledge of digital design tools and UX/UI design practices
  • Experience designing for websites, mobile applications, social platforms, and digital experiences
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital trends, and evolving design practices
  • Experience in photography, videography or motion graphics is a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods during events and activations.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and move materials up to 15 pounds.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and special events as required.
