Description:

We are looking for a Digital Designer to join Homemakers and play a key role in shaping high-performing digital campaigns. If you combine strong design skills with an understanding of what drives results in paid media and social environments, we want to hear from you.


Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 - 4 pm


Job Summary:

The Digital Designer is responsible for the creation and execution of paid media, social, and digital campaign assets that drive customer engagement and support Homemakers’ marketing objectives. Working closely within the marketing team this role translates campaign direction into compelling digital executions across channels and placements. The Digital Designer is production-focused and performance-aware, with a strong understanding of how design drives results in digital media environments.


Knowledge, Skills & Responsibilities:


Paid Media & Campaign Design

  • Design and produce digital ad creative across paid social, display, programmatic, OTT/CTV, and search platforms, ensuring assets are optimized for each channel and format.
  • Translate campaign briefs and strategic direction into visually compelling creative that aligns with brand standards.
  • Develop multiple creative variations for A/B testing, adapting messaging, visuals, and formats to support performance optimization and audience segmentation.
  • Stay current on paid media creative best practices, platform spec changes, and emerging ad formats across Meta, Google, Pinterest, and other key channels.

Social & Content Production

  • Collaborate within content team to develop on-brand creative that supports both organic and paid social strategies.
  • Create social-first content including static posts, motion graphics, short-form video assets, and story formats across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and other platforms.
  • Support email marketing production with creation needs for campaign assets that drive click-through and conversions.
  • Support additional cross-functional creative needs across marketing, merchandising, ecommerce, and media teams, ensuring cohesive brand execution across all customer touchpoints.

Performance & Optimization

  • Review campaign performance, using data & insights to inform creative iterations and improve results.
  • Maintain awareness of key performance metrics including CTR, engagement, and ROAS, and apply learnings to ongoing creative development.
  • Identify opportunities to improve creative efficiency through templates and production workflows.

Collaboration & Brand Alignment

  • Align with the Senior Brand Manager to ensure visuals align with campaign messaging, copy direction, and promotional goals.
  • Partnering with Brand Designer to align creative to Homemakers’ brand guidelines and visual standards.
  • Contribute creative ideas during team meetings, actively participating in campaign planning, ideation, and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, digital media, advertising, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in digital design, with a strong focus on paid media and social campaign creative.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; experience with Canva, Figma, and motion design tools (After Effects, etc.) preferred.
  • Solid understanding of paid social and digital advertising platforms and their creative specifications.
  • Experience with motion graphics, short-form video editing, and animated ad formats.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Portfolio demonstrates strong digital and paid media campaign work required

Physical Expectations:

  • Sitting or standing for long periods of time
  • Light lifting for set-up for Homemakers special events
  • May be asked to help move signage stands on showroom floor

Environmental Conditions:

  • Will work indoors, but may occasionally work outdoors for Homemakers events
