We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to a wide range of B2B2C customer-facing Golf applications. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects and technologies, with a primary focus on building custom WordPress plugins and themes. Beyond WordPress, you’ll also collaborate on applications built with Next.js, .NET 8 for mobile development, and Node.js services using NestJS.
The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, embraces variety, and is eager to support the team wherever needed. You should be comfortable switching between different languages and frameworks, and passionate about delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain custom WordPress plugins and themes for Golf applications.
  • Contribute to customer-facing applications built with Next.js and React.
  • Participate in mobile app development using .NET 8 and related technologies.
  • Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and NestJS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.
  • Adapt quickly to new technologies and project requirements.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in frontend or full-stack software development
  • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices and design patterns
  • Extensive experience with PHP and WordPress development.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with React and Next.js.
  • Ability to work across multiple technologies and platforms.

  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases, RabbitMQ

Fully Remote: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-Versant worksite, most commonly an employee’s residence.

This position may require up to 10% travel for onsite collaboration and meetings at a Versant office location, based on the needs of the business. The final round of the interview process will be conducted in person. #LI-remote
