What's the opportunity?

As a Fraud Officerfor the new Account Screening team within Toronto Fraud Operations, you will be responsible for the Account Screening processes within the team, which consists of reviewing new and existing clients for potential fraud and taking appropriate action to mitigate that risk.

What will you do?

  • Responsible for the PDA (Personal Deposit Account) and BDA (Business Deposit Account) screening process in reviewing new personal and business account openings using the Fraud IQ Manager application and TransUnion Direct for the potential of fraud risk

  • Responsible for the SRF screening process: Review new and existing clients looking for matches to the negative database in EIM

  • Investigate by gathering information from a variety of sources such as CAMPS, EIM, IRIS, the internet and Siebel; review transactions for risk

  • Delivering on client experience and best in class partner service, through effective and professional verbal and written communication

  • Flexibility and resourcefulness to contribute towards the design and execution of multiple processes under development or requiring continuous improvement

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Fraud experience and knowledge of RBC fraud policies,procedures and applications

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Knowledge of RBC products and services

  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem solving skills

  • Strong risk and operational mindset

  • Able to workrequired shifts within the business hours of 8am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday

  • In this role, you will communicate and interact frequently with RBC partners and/or employees located across Canada and/or worldwide.

Nice-to-have

  • Knowledge of RBC Systems (i.e.FRAUD UI, INTERAC, EIM, Siebel, etc.)

  • Bilingual French/English
