Senior Financial Auditor
SUMMARY
Our client is a national insurance company. We are looking for a Senior Financial Auditor to join their fast growing team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Evaluate company financial and operational risks and assist with development of the annual audit plan and audit programs.
  2. Lead and perform all phases of audits including planning, scoping, fieldwork, reporting and performing subsequent follow-up procedures.
  3. Identify control weaknesses and be able to communicate audit findings effectively to members of management in an objective and persuasive manner.
  4. Assess exposure resulting from ineffective controls and provide recommendations to address identified control deficiencies.
  5. Assist with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 control testing and compliance.
  6. Coordinate with external auditors.
  7. Ability to understand Information Technology (IT) risks and incorporate audit plan steps to address IT risk areas.
  8. Participate in special audit projects as assigned.
