This position will be assigned within the Corporate, Industrial, or Commercial Finance Groups.
The Sr. Financial Analyst provides analytical support, financial modeling, and reporting to guide business decisions and improve financial performance. This role partners with cross-functional teams to evaluate trends, assess risks and opportunities, and support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives. The position requires frequent interaction with all levels of the organization including director level management within and outside or Finance to support the decision-making process in pursuit of corporate financial goals.
This role provides the opportunity to move across and up the organization and become a leader within one of the largest OEMs in the world.
Summary
The Sr. Financial Analyst provides analytical support, financial modeling, and reporting to guide business decisions and improve financial performance. This role partners with cross-functional teams to evaluate trends, assess risks and opportunities, and support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Modeling & Analysis - Build and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance, forecast results, and support strategic initiatives
  • Budgeting & Forecasting - Lead or support the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning activities.
  • Reporting - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis and performance dashboards
  • Business Partnering - Collaborate with operations, sales, and leadership teams to interpret financial results and provide actionable insights
  • Data Management - Gather, validate, and analyze financial and operational data to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Performance Monitoring - Track KPIs, identify trends, and recommend improvements to enhance profitability and efficiency
  • Decision Support - Conduct ad-hoc analysis to evaluate investments, pricing strategies, cost-saving opportunities, and other business initiatives
  • Compliance & Controls - Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies

The Sr. Financial Analyst may be assigned to one of the following functions:
  • Commercial, Industrial, or Corporate finance groups

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a similar analytical role
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the automotive industry
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or CMA
  • Masters Degree
  • Experience with financial reporting systems (e.g., SAP, Onestream, Hyperion)
  • Knowledge of SQL or advanced analytics tools (e,g. Power BI, Snowflake, etc)
