Your Role in Supporting Our Members:ย 

As aย Senior Executive Assistant, you willย act as a trusted partner andย provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Vice President (EVP), Inclusive Banking & Sustainable Wealth, and the Senior Vice President (SVP), Wealth Management. This role is critical in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of senior leaders by managing complex schedules, coordinating key initiatives, preparing executive-level materials, and enabling seamless communication across internal and external stakeholders. We areย seekingย a highly organized, proactive, and discreet professional who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-driven, and highly regulated environment.ย 

This is aย full-time, permanentย role based at ourย Vancity head officeย and will report directly to theย Executive Vice President, Inclusive Banking & Sustainable Wealth. While this position provides a hybrid work arrangement, you will be expected to be on-site for events and business demandsย 

How You'll Makeย an Impact:ย 

  • Providing proactive executive support including complexย inbox andย calendar management, meeting coordination, correspondence, andย logisticsย 
  • Coordinating meetings, forums, and executive engagements across internal and external stakeholdersย 
  • Preparing high-quality executive-level materials, presentations, and communicationsย 
  • Managing sensitive information, documents, and records with discretion and accuracyย 
  • Tracking action items, commitments, andย governanceย deliverables to ensureย timelyย follow-throughย 
  • Streamlining processes andย maintainingย organized systemsย ย 
  • Coordinating budgets, expenses, invoices, and vendorย interactionsย 
  • Building strong relationshipsย across business units andย supportingย stakeholders acrossย enterprise-wide initiativesย 
  • Supporting special projects, ad hoc requests, and evolving business prioritiesย 
    ย 

Whatย Youโ€™llย Bring toย the Team:ย 

  • 5โ€“10 years of experience supportingย C-suite or executive leaders, preferably within a complex or regulated organizationย ย 
  • Post-secondary education in business administration or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experienceย 
  • Advancedย proficiencyย in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration toolsย ย 
  • Strong experience managing complex calendars, executive coordination, and meetingย logisticsย ย 
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgmentย ย 
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail and follow-throughย ย 
  • Strong communicationย skills with the ability to prepare polished executive-level materialsย ย 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentย ย

This role offersย aย salary rangeย of$69,700 to $ 86,100 per annum.ย The baseย pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills,ย previousย experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.ย
