Job description

We are currently seeking a Civil Engineering Designer/Senior CAD Technician for our office, located in Maitland, FL to assist with our continued project workload. This role provides an opportunity to work in a medium-sized office with ties to the resources and benefits of a much larger firm.
What does this mean for you?
The opportunity to work on unique projects as team leads and with other development disciplines to form a development team for larger mixed-use project.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Duties include design and drafting for the preparation of site civil engineering drawings for subdivision, industrial, and commercial projects
โ€ข Design and analyze engineering systems related to land development and utilities
โ€ข Development and delivery of calculations for site grading, stormwater management system design, establishment of water and wastewater utilities and roadway requirements for translation into construction drawing plans
โ€ข Maintain client communications and build client relations
โ€ข Gain experience relevant to obtaining a Professional Engineer license (if applicable)
Qualifications
โ€ข Understanding of land development planning is considered a requirement
โ€ข Proficiency with AutoCAD for design purposes
โ€ข Civil 3D experience is preferred โ€ข Working knowledge of stormwater analysis and design is an asset
โ€ข Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience working in a project engineering environment โ€ข Demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills
