As a Senior Engineering Manager for Email Security, you will lead the team responsible for our flagship product. You will join at a pivotal time to scale our distributed systems, mentor a high-performing team of engineers, and partner with leadership to define the future of email security. Responsibilities

  • Lead and scale a team of high-performing engineers, providing mentorship and career development.

  • Own the delivery and execution of the Email Security roadmap, ensuring high velocity without compromising on quality or reliability.

  • Drive architectural decisions for complex, high-throughput distributed systems and platforms.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Product and Security teams to align technical strategy with customer needs.

  • Foster a culture of operational excellence, overseeing oncall rotations, incident response, and system health.

What We\'re Looking For

  • Extensive experience as a strong IC in distributed systems or backend infrastructure, with a proven track record of transitioning into successful engineering management.

Compensation at Material Security is determined by a range of factors, including but not limited to the individual’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected pay range for this position is $235,000 - $260,000 annual salary.
