Job Title: Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer (ECM & SAP Integration)
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to design and manage a robust Enterprise Content Management (ECM) infrastructure within an AWS cloud environment. This role is a hybrid of cloud architecture, automated deployment, and complex enterprise system integration. You will be responsible for containerizing enterprise document services, building CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring seamless document flows between SAP S/4HANA and cloud-based repositories. The ideal candidate is an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) expert who understands the technical nuances of SAP ArchiveLink and high-availability container orchestration.
Key Responsibilities
AWS Infrastructure & Containerization
• Cloud Architecture: Design and implement ECM infrastructure on AWS using ECS Fargate, RDS, S3, and VPC; manage container registries and image lifecycles (ECR).
• Containerization: Containerize document servers and related components using Docker, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery solutions are baked into the architecture.
• Automated Scaling: Implement auto-scaling and load-balancing (ALB/NLB) strategies to handle enterprise-level document traffic.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & DevOps
• Terraform Mastery: Write and maintain modular Terraform code for multi-environment deployments (Dev, QA, Prod); manage remote backends and state files.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
• Security & Automation: Implement secrets management (AWS Secrets Manager) and infrastructure security best practices (IAM, KMS, encryption).
• Monitoring: Develop monitoring and alerting solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
Enterprise System & SAP Integration
• SAP Connectivity: Configure SAP S/4HANA ArchiveLink interfaces, including HTTP Content Repository connections (OAC0, OAC2, OAC3).
• Document Lifecycle: Perform end-to-end validation of document flows for SAP business objects (FI, MM, SD); manage retention policies, archival processes, and DMS integration.
• Platform Administration: Administer enterprise content servers, including repository configuration, workflow management, and DQL-based troubleshooting.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Experience:
o7+ years of overall IT experience with a focus on Enterprise Content Management.
o4+ years of hands-on AWS experience (ECS, IAM, VPC, S3).
o3+ years of SAP integration experience (ArchiveLink, Basis transaction codes).
• Technical Skills:
oExpert proficiency in Terraform and CloudFormation.
oStrong background in Linux System Administration (RHEL, Ubuntu) and scripting (Python, Bash).
oMastery of Docker and container orchestration.
oKnowledge of Documentum Query Language (DQL) or similar ECM query tools.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (Master's preferred).
• Certifications (Preferred): AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect, or HashiCorp Certified Terraform Associate.
